Deputy Minister of Information and Culture of Afghanistan Participated at the Ministerial Meeting of the Media Freedom Coalition as Part of the Second Global Conference on Media Freedom

Ottawa- November 16, 2020

H.E. Sayeda Mujgan Mostafavi, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture of Afghanistan joined other heads of delegation from the member states in the first Ministerial Meeting of the Media Freedom Coalition as part of the second Global Conference on Media Freedom which was co-hosted virtually by Canada and the Republic of Botswana. The participants exchanged views on the ongoing efforts both nationally and globally in the defence of media freedom as well as future priorities in this important area.
