Earlier on Twitter, Ambassador Hassan Soroosh expressed his gratefulness to "friends of Afghanistan from around the world including here in Canada for standing in solidarity with the Afghan women TV presenters who are now forced to cover their faces based on the Taliban’s new order. "

Ambassador Soroosh highlighted that "The Taliban need to feel the real collective pressure".
